SARS--severe acute respiratory syndrome--has appeared, awfully widespread, awfully quickly. The first mention of it comes out, and it turns out to be in nine countries. The cause has not yet been identified. No one has been cured of it yet. It's often fatal. It will probably be here tomorrow.
